First of all I would personally like to thank everyone involved with the YES ON 1158 campaign, the initiative to change the state song to honor the Sonics. Thank you for your countless hours of volunteering, gathering signatures at markets, fairs, and numerous events all over the state.  Without you, we would not have been as successful as we were and I couldn't have done it without you.

 

Even though we gathered thousands of signatures, I regret to say we fell short of the needed number to qualify for the ballot. But, fear not  -- even though we didn't qualify this year we'll be back soon with new projects designed to reach our goal of bringing a National Basketball Association team back to Washington.
